History of the Firm

Liora Bamberger is a well-known name in Property Law and the Administration of Deceased Estates in Johannesburg.

After completing her articles with one of the brightest legal minds in South Africa, Larry Kallmeyer, Liora founded her own firm Liora Bamberger and Associates, on 1st of May 1982. The firm established itself as one of the most reputable, efficient and reliable conveyancing firms in Johannesburg and its environs.

Liora Bamberger and Associates secured a place in the Top 20 on four commercial banks’ Home Loans Panels which is a huge achievement, and almost unprecedented by even the large law firms.

Ranking on the Home Loans Panels is dependent on performance, accuracy and turnaround times and is audited on a monthly basis. These have remained Liora’s strengths.

As the firm grew, Liora felt her clients’ need for a more bespoke and discreet service, and so Liora Bamberger Private Clients was born in 2015.

The focus is on Property Law, Administration of Deceased Estates, Wills, Estate Planning and Financial Emigration.

Many of the firm’s clients are expats, and the firm well-positioned to assist them with the highest degree of discretion.

Liora Bamberger Private Clients’ mission is to provide efficient, discreet and user-friendly service and to be available to its clients 24/7. The response from clients to this new style of legal service has been overwhelmingly positive.
